What is the PM Internship Scheme

PMIS, which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced in the 2024–25 Union Budget, intends to give India’s youth relevant industry training. The program offers more than 1.25 lakh internships in 745 districts and 25 different sectors, emphasizing skilling people between the ages of 21 and 24.
